17-year-old Palestinian girl shot dead in protest against desecration of Al-Aqsa mosque
Israeli armed forces shot dead a 17-year-old girl who was protesting against the desecration of the Al-Aqsa mosque.
According to media reports, Israeli forces have recently carried out repeated raids inside Palestinian villages, as a result of which more than a dozen Palestinians have been injured.
Hanan Mahmoud Khadur, a 17-year-old Palestinian girl, martyred on Monday after being shot by Israeli forces during a similar raid on a Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.
In Kuwait, “Youth for Al-Quds” staged a protest at Al-Arada Square.
The protesters expressed solidarity with the Palestinian worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque and condemned the Israeli aggression against the worshipers.
Hundreds of people marched in solidarity with Kuwaiti and Palestinian flags and chanted slogans of solidarity with the Palestinian resistance.
The demonstrators praised the resistance in the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv.
The participants held banners with slogans of sacrificing one’s life for Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Participants said that we stand in support of the Palestinian nation while rejecting injustice and oppression.
On the other hand, Clashes between Palestinians and Israeli police have been raging in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound since last Friday, with more than 170 people injured and most of them are Palestinians.
During the holy month of Ramadan last year, similar incidents of violence took place in Al-Aqsa Mosque and Occupied Jerusalem, which led to the Israeli-imposed war in Gaza.
Israeli armed forces stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday after two days of clashes with Palestinians.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said yesterday that its staff had provided medical assistance to 19 people injured in the clashes and that five of them had been taken to hospital.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, at least 25 Palestinians have been martyred in such Israeli attacks since March 22.
