1313 test positive, 18 die of coronavirus during past 24 hours in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: 1313 new cases of coronavirus have emerged, while 18 deaths due to the virus in the past 24 across the country.

National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) reported that the tally of the total number of cases is now 337,573, whereas the death toll has reached 6,867. At least 26,565 samples were tested yesterday.


The total number of active cases of the coronavirus is 14,646. Whereas 316,060 patients have been recovered from the virus.

Around 747 patients are in critical condition and are under treatment in different hospitals in the country.

Earlier Prime Minister Imran Khan has asked the National Coordination Committee (NCC) to review the situation after the recent surge of coronavirus in the country.

Accuracy of measures taken by NCOC amid the rising cases of COVID-19 were highly appreciated by the Prime Minister.
