108 children test covid-19 positive in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The District Health Officer (DHO) on Wednesday said that 108 children have been tested positive for covid-19 during the last 24 hours in Islamabad.
5,726 children aged up to 10 years were tested positive for COVID-19, whereas, 5,343 teenagers aged from 11 years to 20 years were infected with the virus uptil now.
Experts believe that the symptoms of Covid-19 in children completely differ from adults as the kids who contracted the coronavirus infection were found to have symptoms of influenza, diarrhoea and vomiting, as well as those of Kawasaki disease.
Earlier, today, Pakistan has reported 4,757 new positive cases of coronavirus with 78 new deaths across the country in the past 24 hours, according to National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).
