The latest rain-and-snow spell has claimed 105 lives across Pakistan.

The National Disaster Management Authority has sent Prime Minister Imran Khan a report on the damage caused by that snow spell.

96 people have also been injured.

The spokesperson claimed that 20 deaths were reported in Balochistan, five in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, two in Gilgit-Baltistan and the remaining in Azad Kashmir.

An avalanche also struck Azad Kashmir last week.

He added that there were 1,295 houses seriously affected. Numerous roads have been blocked in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, which breaks road connectivity with several regions.

Pakistan army special teams are engaged in search and rescue operations.
