According to Hum News, the rickshaw driver Muhammed Ramazan said that after dropping his passengers at their destination he parked his rickshaw at one side to answer the call of nature. He said when he got off his rickshaw, he saw smoke emitting out from a plastic bag and within seconds the bomb blew up.
The spokesperson of the Counter Terrorism Department said that at this stage they could not term it an act of terrorism.
The bomb disposal squad said that it would be investigated later, whether it was being carried from somewhere or what was the motive behind this blast. The BDS said that since the bomb was at a distance of two feet from the ground, therefore it had not created a ditch in road, however it had completely destroyed the vehicle.
Hunt for the suspects has been launched.
